Issues with satellites on firmware V2.1.4.16

Hello,

My satellites seem to end up on a island. They are connected and show that way in the UI and devices can connect to the satellites. But devices connected to satellites cannot connect to the internet.

I have to say everything will run fine for awhile and then boom. The satellites just lose their mind.I have completely reset the orbi back to factory and running the lastest firmare but thinking about returning to the stock v1 firmware becasue this is driving me crazy.

Anyone else running into this?

Re: Issues with satellites on firmware V2.1.4.16

What is the Mfr and model# of the IP modem the Orbi is connected too?
How are the Satellites connected to the base router? Wireless or wired?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try disabling the following and see:
MIMO, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
