Magenta usually means your SAT is too far from the router.
Whar firmware on you on?
Did you upgrade it manually?

Re: Magenta Light on Router, no Internet Many times a Day
I'm having a similar issue on with my orbi. I thought it was due to my Google Home, though after posting here another google home user countered with their google home/orbi not having any issues.
I do have a question about your issue:
1.When you see the Magenta light come on is it the satellite or the main router that is showing the Magenta light?
2.When you notice the Magenta light do all of your wired and wireless devices lose internet connection?
3. On your wireless devices, when you lose internet connection, does the orbi ssid still show on your devices or does it disappear?
If you answered yes to all three, I think your orbi is rebooting and when you see the magenta light it is actually coming back online.
