Manually set network map
Hi all,
Is it possible to manually set the network map?
I have an Orbi RBR50 with 3 satellites.
Often they don’t configure themselves in the best way for the layout of the house, but there’s no way I know of to manually set how they map together, or to disable daisychaining on individual satellites (you can only have the whole system enabled or disabled).
Does anyone know of a solution to this - all firmware is up to date and the same across all devices.
Thanks very much

There is no straight forward way to select which satellite to connect to which node or to selectively disable Daisy Chain. You can either enable or disable Daisy Chain.
The only way I know of, which I also used at some point, is to use cli commands, which is -luckily- still possible for the Orbi AC series. Look in this forum how to enable cli commands.
When you have access, then you need to enter the following commands in the satellite that you don't want any other satellite to connect to by disabling it's backhaul:
- config set endis_wla_2nd_radio=0
- config get wl5g_BACKHAUL_AP
- ifconfig $(config get wl5g_BACKHAUL_AP) down
Please note that you need to do this agian after any restarts.
