This seems significant! I wonder if setting up a firewall rule to block UDP port 5353 (MDNS) for all host would have any impact. I expect that might cause problems for things that rely on MDNS, but it would be interesting to see if it stops the kernel panic and reboot problem.

Interesting. I am periodically seeing this happen - devices dropped from the wi-fi randomly. I have resorted to restarting my main router to address.
@netgear, is a fix for this coming?
