My 8 year old Lenovo laptop only sees my wireless printer

My 8 year old Lenovo laptop only sees my wireless printer. It does not see the ORBI router. Any ideas as to what needs to be done?

What orbi router is it? (model)

What wireless chip is in the laptop? (go to device manager to look it up)

What driver version is on the wireless chip in the laptop?

Ensure the wireless adapter drivers are updated on the laptop.

It is an ORBI  RBR750

The wireless chip is a AC 3160 , version 18.33.5.1 ( 10/9/16

You're way behind on your drivers. 

Get them directly from intel and try it. Intel had issues with their older drivers not showing AX networks.

I had problems with an older Lenovo laptop when I upgraded to the RBR850.

In the end I had to manually adjust the Wi-Fi adaptors settings within device manager by selecting the highest Wi-Fi protocol (802.11bgn).

Additionally I had a few other minor issues that were resolved by increasing the CTS Threshold and setting the preamble to Short.
