N300 WNR2000v3 Router Connecting to Roomba i3
I recently purchased an iRobot Roomba i3 but have been unable to set it up due to Wi-Fi connection issues. I run through the Roomba set up, but when it gets to the point of connecting to Wi-Fi I get ...

Arris SBB200? Do you mean SB8200? There isn't an SBB
If so, you're bottleneck is big time on that router. Its a old base model N300 devices with only 10/100mbps connections. Its not gigabit either. An upgrade in the future might be a good plan.
What security are you using on the router?

the problem is occuring on more than 1 router?
Seems to point more towards a roomba issue then.
what security are you using?
Is your phone on 2.4ghz or 5ghz during setup?
Make sure with the router to avoid any special characters/spaces in the ssid and password. I've seen poorly coded IoT devices struggle with them.
If you enable the guest network on the router and leave it open (no security for testing) does the roomba connect?
Maybe it just needs to connect and update itself

let me know how it does with no security. I played with a roomba when it first came out that struggled until it updated its software.

Thanks everyone who weighed in on this thread. After 3+ weeks of trying to resolve this issue with the Roomba, I'm giving up and returning it unless their tech support gets back to me ASAP. I even tried opening up the guest Wi-Fi connection and nothing different happened - the robot wouldn't connect. :-(

I know two people who have a Eufy vacuum on their original Netgear Orbi (ac). Neither mentioned anything about it being difficult to connect.
