I do but a ring doorbell has a battery in it. It may be hardwired but the battery is still there and will last for months.

I’m 30 feet from the router and 5 ft from the satellite and FaceTime and other programs say poor connection. All firmware is up to date. This is happening with android iPad and iphonex

Find a free phone app for signal strength for one of your devices. It might help you find the issue.

What FW is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try disabling the following and see:
MIMO, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Basically i have a nest door bell next to my orbi satellite (it is only 2 meters away) and the nest camera is connecting to my main orbi router that is situated over 10m away and is onanother floor. Moreover the connection is poor it is 30%.

So basically the orbi is connected to my ISP and the ISP modem i steh Technicolor TG789vac v2 - http://www.resqnet.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/TG789vac-v2-Set-up-and-user-guide.pdf

The conncction between the orbi router and satalite is marked as good on the orbi app. so i guess that there is no issue between the orbi devices.

The neighbours wifi is wery weak signal.

WPA is - WPA2-PSK [AES]

2.4 ghz is on chanel 6

5 ghz is on chanel 40

Beamforming and MIMO are enabled .

If you reboot the RBR, leaving the satellite alone. Do any devices connect to the satelilte?

Try disabling the following and see:
Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Also regarding your ISP modem:

This modem alredy has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
