Netgear Armor is not avalible on Orbi

Hello everyone:

I have an Orbi RBK53 suit which contains one RBR node and two RBS nodes. I have updated all the firmwares to the latest version and updated the client APP on my mobilephone. But there is not an Armor option on my phone so I cannot use this new feature. Does anyone know the reason?

On the Orbi app, do you see a "Security" icon?  (Maybe you have to scroll down for it to appear?)

I, personally, have no interest in Armor, so I have not activated it.  My understanding is that the user has to log in to a Netgear account to activate Armor.  When I tap the "Security" icon, it brings me to a login screen (which I cancel out of).

- May we please know the router firmware version?

- What is the Orbi app version?

- Please describe your network setup.

Hello:

My Orbi version is V2.3.1.60 and my app version is 2.3.7.6

My network setup is Orbi as a DHCP client to access the Internet.

Hi @windowspace, please make sure that the Orbi is configured as a router and not in AP mode. The Armor feature will only work if the supported device is in router mode.
