Netgear Orbi Baby Jumbo MTU
I'd love to be able to update the WAN MTU above 1492- both my modem and my ISP support it- but the Orbi admin page says I can only configure it to a maximum of 1492.
Is there another setting that can be specified to allow a 1500 MTU, or is it possible to be addressed in a future firmware update?
Thanks!

You don't want that higher or it will cause you to have issues.

Re: Netgear Orbi Baby Jumbo MTU
Correct - jumbo frames and the Internet don't mix. They can be used only if *every* endpoint and network devices packets interact with *ALL* support jumbo frames, so it's only valuable in isolated business networks and university labs. They will never, ever work on the general Internet, whether your ISP supports them on their end or not. The moment the packet transits out of your ISP to the general backbone, your packet is toast.
