Netgear Orbi connection drop no internet mobile wireless mobile + wired backhaul nonworking
sup guys. I'll give you a rundown of my system.
1 optimum aris 1602 modem changed 3 times.
1 rbr 50 router changed twice
2 rbs satellites changed twice
setup both satellites directly wired to my modem.
The signal still shows 5g wireless connected. I don't know why. I turned off diasy chaining which seems to have fixed the disconnect problem for now. Its usually only on mobile phones wirelessly that disconnect. Wired and laptops have no problems. I've literally spent 100+ hours with customer support trying to fix this issue the first year. At one point everything worked fine but after update and update it started to become unstable again. Tried playing around with preamble, beamforming, etc to no avail. All set back to default now.
I honestly think netgear is becoming apple and trying to mess up the old routers to sell new ones

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended or more in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or may not be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
