New Orbi Voice R40 not connecting with existing Orbi R50 network
I am having trouble adding the Orbi Voice to my existing Orbi system. The Orbi app updated my firm ware prior to adding the Orbi Voice. I go to add Satellite and it keeps telling me it can't be found. Does the Orbi Voice work with the Orbi R50 system?

Which firmware are you running?
version 1.0.0.36 works in extender mode.
Version 2.3.5.14 works in orbi mode. if you're using it with an orbi system, this is the firmware you should be running. I've got this same RBS40v running with a rbk53 system.

For a non-tech person, how do I find the firmware for the R40 since I can't get it to connect?

I think someone had found that if you hardwire into the orbi satellites and they aren't connected to anything that their default ip address is 192.168.1.250. You can try that route.
Have you tried to sync using the app or even just using the hardwired sync buttons on the orbi units?

Another option you have is utilizing your free 90 days of support.....
to do so go to the top and click mynetgear. Register an account and then your device. From there you can access your support and potentially talk to someone to help walk you through it.

I've tried reaching support after uploading my Proof of Purchase and It hasn't worked.

What part of it hasn't worked? The uploading? Registering the serial number? All I've done in the past is register the serial.

The Orbi Voice is registered the proof of Purchase is uploaded. When I click on email the website does not move forward
