Newbie Post: Orbi RBR40 staying connected issues
I just got this Orbi RBR 40 with two satellights and am having issues staying connected to WiFi on my smart TV. I see now documentation for help for the product .
questions
my router is connected to my modem. My modem was my old WiFi hook up. Should I kill those WiFi connections so the Orbi is the only WiFi system to connect to?
would love some support help but can’t seem to get anywhere that way either.

Re: Newbie Post: Orbi RBR40 staying connected issues
What is the Mfr and model # of the ISP modem?
Modem Combo Units:
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, LAN to LAN and configure AP mode on the Orbi router.
