Nintendo 3DS won’t connect to Satellite
So I’m able to connect the DS to the router when I’m on the first floor, within the range of the router. The issue I’m having is that the DS won’t reliably connect to the satellite. It will connect sometimes, but other times it’ll go long periods where I’ll be without a connection. I’m not sure if it just takes a while to get onto the satellite after it’s on, or what, but it’s incredibly frustrating. I don’t have any issues with this when I’m sitting downstairs near the router.
Does anyone have any tips for how to get it to connect faster and more reliably? Whether configured with the router or DS or otherwise? Thanks.

What wifi channels are you using? Try manual 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz.
What wifi security modes are you using?
Try disabling Daisy Chain, MIMO and Fast Roaming on the router.
What is the distance between the router and satellite? Feet?
