ORBI- Can it be used with non-Netgear routers?

Hi, I recently bought an Orbi Router/Satelitte system from a friend. I'm just wondering if it should work with any modem or if it has to be Netgear? My modem is Arris.

Yes, works with any kind of Modem or ONT.

Some people also like to use Orbi systems with non-Netgear routers.

To do that, it helps to put the Orbi router into wireless access point modem
