What speed UP and Down do you pay for? 

I have a 1Gb/5Mpbs service here:

Though a bit on the low side for the down.

We are paying for 350mb

PC, phones, android and Iphone all getting the usual results 370mp

Late 2014 Imac 5k, 260 Ethernet around 240 Wifi 

Has to be something to do with the macs ?

when was the last time the macs were rebooted and speed tested after the reboot with out opening up anything? 

Using the Ooklas installable speed test app for each mac right? 

Any security programs running the back ground? 

If your other devices are getting to spec speed and the couple are not, I would review this macs for sure.

I have just tried in safemode on my imac and can confirm the results are what they should be. this is very strange

Might check to see whats running in the background that maybe slowing things down on the Macs.

Tested both ethernet and wifi in safemode on iMac using safari and speedtest app and results where what they should be.

Logged back into normal mode and the same as above also tried firefox and this was perfect, however in google chrome results where much slower again.

Now to sort the macbook

FYI, I've found that browsers case cause inaccurate speed results. So I've moved from using browsers to the installable speed test app. 

I personally don't use Google browsers.
