ORBI RBK50 as a VPN server in bridge mode?
I am commuting between 2 houses - House A main and House B transient
At house A: I have a TP like deco M9. I also have a need for a blue iris camera server and a network videp recorder. I also have an extra RBK50 router since was cheaper to purchase a set that individual routers.
I really like the easy configuration on the Orbi .
At house B: I have an orbi mesh system RBK50 mesh system).
So I would like to do the following:
House A:
1. Add the extra Orbi RBK50 router as a bridge (connected to the deco satellite) and install OPEN VPN.
The idea is that I could connect to the Blue iris server attatched to the ORBI router from House B and watch house A. The rest of wifi would be connected and used only in house A.
2 House B. I would like to install VPN on my Orbi router so that I can access my fire tv from house A and watch house B programming?
Any suggestions? thanks in advance..

Re: ORBI RBK50 as a VPN server in bridge mode?
All RBRs only support router or AP mode. They don't support bridge mode.

Re: ORBI RBK50 as a VPN server in bridge mode?
For AP mode, it would be as a pass through for any data. VPN would be setup on the main host router there. AP disables many features on the RBR for this mode.
