I have an Orbi RBR50 daisy-chained with 2 RBS50 satellites. Neither satellite is connected by ethernet cable. Only wifi. Connections from the Router to Satellites are 5G and GOOD. Is it normal that wireless speeds next to my router are 200MBPS and at my satellites I'm only getting 75-100MBPS? Thanks,

Modem Combo Units:
This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Also having wifi signal broadcast from modem can cause interference issues as well.
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Please disable ALL wifi radios on the upstream router...Give one of the above suggestions a try.

Re: ORBI RBR50 w/ 2 RBS50 Satellite issues:
Both satellites are the same, or is the "far one" lower than the "near one"?
How is speed being measured?

Re: ORBI RBR50 w/ 2 RBS50 Satellite issues:
Satellites are setup in A-B-C Daisy-Chain.
A ---> B---> C
A Orbi router (ground floor office, hardwired, acting in router mode)
B satellite (ground floor kitchen)
C satellite (2nd floor play room)
Speedtest.net app for speed tests via iphone 11 or ipad.

Re: ORBI RBR50 w/ 2 RBS50 Satellite issues:
What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ethernet switch in the configuration?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain needs disabling for ethernet connected RBSs, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
Be sure your connected to the RBS and not the RBR. You need to disable the wifi radio on your device, then go near the RBS, 4-6 feet. Then enable the wifi radio on the device. This will ensure it's connected to the RBS.

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Already enabled.
Try disabling the following and see:

Fast roaming disabled causes connection isssues. Otherwise I disabled IPv6. The rest were already off.

Re: ORBI RBR50 w/ 2 RBS50 Satellite issues:
I am getting 234mbps at the router. 110-ish at the satellites. Basically half at the satellites with 5G connections and good backhaul status.

Is the RBR working in AP mode or router mode? I see you have a router already in front of the RBR...
What is the Mfr and model# of the ethernet switch in the configuration?Any network switches in between the RBR and RBS or is the RBSs directly connected to the RBR?
What kind of LAN cable are you using to connect the RBS to the RBR? CAT6?

Re: ORBI RBR50 w/ 2 RBS50 Satellite issues:
RBS are connected to RBR by 5G signal. No hardwire. I suspect this may be the issue and could be considered normal? That’s what I need answered. Why are my SAT speeds 1/2 than the speed at the router (wirelessly).

Re: ORBI RBR50 w/ 2 RBS50 Satellite issues:
I’m getting 220 at the router. 190 at SAT1 30’ away and am getting 150 at SAT2 40’ away from SAT1. Daisy chain mode.
I can live with this.
Many thanks,
