Re: ORBI10 says unsecured network

All Orbis leave the factory with a default WiFi name (SSID) consisting of the letters "ORBI" and a two digit number.

The actual model number is printed on the product label.

Yes, web browsers complain about any web site that is reached through http (port 80) rather than the 'secured' https (port 443).

Nearly every residential router for the past 20 years has used the ordinary, unsecured port 80 for their management web interface.

The assumption being that only devices which have already connected to the internal LAN can reach  the router web management, and communication between the user and the router does not leave the LAN.

All of my browsers complain the first time I open the web site.  I select the option to "go to this web site anyway" (each browser has a different method), and from then on the browser no longer complains.
