Orbi RBK13 and similar ethernet backhaul
I would like to know if the Orbi series support ethernet (wired) backhaul to the router. Including when it is in bridge (no router) mode to get the fast handover.
My home is fully wired but I would like the fast handover and speed. But still take advantage of the ethernet as it is very congested in the flats I live in.
One manual kind of mentioned it in passing but it is not clear if this is actually supported.
Many thanks for your help!

Re: Orbi RBK13 and similar ethernet backhaul
No. Please look at the Product Data Sheet for the RBK13 Orbi.
https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/orbi/RBK13.pdf
Notice that the satellites have no ethernet jack. With no ethernet jack, an ethernet backhaul is impossible.
Sorry.

Re: Orbi RBK13 and similar ethernet backhaul
The Product Data Sheet for this new Nighthawk product does not mention ethernet backhaul, although it goes on a great length about some new "WiFi Easy Mesh": https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/networking/nighthawkmesh/mk63.pdf
The User Manual does not mention ethernet connections.
My guess is that someone who participates in the Nighthawk community forum may have installed this product and might even have attempted ethernet backhaul. Here's one post that showed up on the first page of that forum:
