Orbi RBR50 Router and RBS satellites with different firmware
Hello all
Hope anyone can help with the issue which my router (RBR50) and 2 satellites RBS50.
RBR50 and 1 of the satellite are on the current firmware V2.7.3.22 - but ONE of the satellite is on the older firmware because device was offline when the update occurred.
So now I can not connect the older firmware RBS to the system.
Thanks for the support.

try hardwiring the satellite into the router.

Thanks for the quick response.
I have the satellite plugged into the router (RBR50)
The satellite (older version) have magenta/pink led
INVALID HW ID, USE DEFAULT ORBI as a device instead of a satellite.

You can cheat. Factory reset the satellite.
Then hardwire a pc/laptop into the satellite.
Its default ip address should be 192.168.1.250
from there you can manually update it and re-sync it to the system.

You might try downgrading the RBR back to what the RBS has loaded, if you can get the RBS to sync correctly and log into it's web page, then update FW on the RBS at this point, then re-update the RBR lastly.

How do I know or figure out what firmware is on the Satellite? 😞
Thanks for helping

After factory resetting the RBS and waiting 5 minutes with a wired PC connected to it, can you access 192.168.1.250\debug.htm at all with log in as admin and password in a web browser?
