Orbi RBR50 & 3 Satellites, moving to house with Cox Panoramic

Ihve had my Orbi system for a few years.  Using Router and 3 satellites to cover my acreage.  I'm moving into town, where my only choice for high speed internet is Cox Panoramic Wifi Gateway.  Cox says that I have to rent their internet Modem Router unless I have my own Cox approived DOCSIS 3.0+ cable internet modem.  Does this mean that I can't use my orbi system with Cox Internet?

It means that the Orbi router has no modem built into it.  It has no Coax connector on the back that the Cox cable would plug into.

So, Cox is correct.  You must have a DOCSIS cable modem on Cox's "approved list" (of which there will be dozens).  You choose: (a) rent it from Cox and thus Cox is totally responsible for it, or (b) buy one yourself and save the monthly fee, but then if something goes wrong with it, it is your responsibility.  Gazillions of people have decided that a break-even of under two years means that they can throw the modem away if it breaks, and they simply buy one.  You pick.

Once you have a modem, the Orbi is entirely compatible with Cox (Spectrum, Frontier, AT&T, etc. etc.)

This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
