Orbi RBR50

I recently switched ISP from ATT to Cox and also got a Linksys CM3024 modem.  Prior to switching to Cox and getting the new modem, I was able to view my Q-See QTH85 cameras outside of my LAN.  I no longer can.  I have forwarded ports 85 and 6036 on my Orbi but when I check the ports, it reports that it is still closed.  The DVR is assigned a static IP address.  Any help will be appreciated.

Did you bridge the new modem to be only a modem?

Re: Orbi RBR50

The new modem is strictly a modem and not a router/wifi.  It is a Linksys CM3024.

They could be ports blocked by your ISP have you checked with COX?

Re: Orbi RBR50

Cox does not block port 85.  I was able to fix it by doing the following on port forwarding.

When setting up port forwarding the external port is 8080 while the internal port is 85 and the internal ip address assigned to the cameras.
