Orbi RBS50 Satellite shows Connection Type as Unknown
Hello Orbi Community,
As I work to have a better managed network I have encountered an issue where my Orbi RBS50 satellite lists the conenction of devices that have a wired connection to it as uknonw. The devices are properly identified in the Device Name column and shoe as connected tot he satellite. My backhaul status is fine as the satellite is shown as "Good".
I have seen loss of internet connection on the devices though not lately. ANd while there may be no correlation between the two I am still elft wondering why the Unknown connection status.
I am running firmware 2.5.1.8 on both the ruouter and satellite.
Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

THere seems to be a bug in v2.5.1.8 on the RBS with it reporting unknown with connected devices. If the RBS works otherwise you can keep it loaded. Unless you need to see the correct device name on the RBS, you can downgrade the RBS back to v30 to see if this fixes it, or you'll need to downgrade the RBR as well.
