I just bought and installed a new modem to my internet service. Afterwards I discovered that my orbi router is no longer on the same network. I tried to go to the router loginpage for orbi to add it to my new service but since I am no longer on the same network I cannot access. Is anyone able to help me connect my orbi to my new network? Thanks so much.

First of all thank you for helping me with this.
I installed a Century Link C1100T Wifi Router. I thought it was a modem.
I am following your instructions now. Will let you know.
Thanks again,

Re: Orbi Router RBR50
You put the RBR50 in the title and CBR40 in the comments. Which one do you have?
Or if you have both, you can only have 1 orbi routing device functioning in your network. Might be where your problem is.

Re: Orbi Router RBR50
Sorry I didn't catch that the cbr40 popped up automatically.
I have the RBR50 model.

Re: Orbi Router RBR50
What modem did you install?
If its just a modem only device (not a combo unit) try this procedure.
1. Factory reset both devices and power both devices off.
2. power up the modem only with nothing connection. Give it a couple minutes to fully boot.
3. After its fully booted, connect the modem to the wan port on the orbi. then boot it up. Give it several minutes to fully boot.
4. Try redoing your orbi installation.

Re: Orbi Router RBR50
If you are running a combo device and the orbi in routing mode, you might run into a double nat situation.

Basically you'd need to put your orbi in AP mode and shut off wireless on the combo device to fix the issue
