Orbi Router adn TimeMachine Backup

Does anyone know when there will be a firmware update to the Orbi Router to support Apple TimeMachine and an USB hard drive?  Or does anyone know of a workaround to make it work now?  Thank you.

Right now the USB port is for future use so no update on those features.
