Orbi Satellite RBS50 as Access Point to 3rdParty Router
My RBR50 is spoilt and I have RBS50 lying of no use ? Can I connect RBS50 to Verizon Router ?

Sadly, no. Unlike some other manufacturers, Netgear designed the Orbi as a "system".
- Routers can only be "routers", never satellites.
- Satellites can only be connected to an Orbi router. They can never be used with another product.
Sucks, big time.
My advice: Turn to eBay. Either (a) buy another router, or (b) sell the satellite and move to something new.

No, but is you look you can but a used RBR40 for about $35 and a used RBR50 for about $50.
This would probably be the cheapest way to restore a mesh network.
