Orbi home wifi dual band / RBK13 will not connect to my internet.

I'm very frustraded right now. I bought the Orbi Whole home wifi system / Dual Band / Model RBK13-100 and have follow all of the prompts with no success. I get to the end of the set up for it to tell me it can not detect my internet, therefore it will not link up. This system is over kill for my 1938 sq ft house,  but i need it for my business. Im using a nighthawk AC1750 router / modem and im wondering if thats the problem. If anyone has suggestion on what to do to correct this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

If the modem has a built in router, This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

I know the NG modem can be bridged so try option #1 first....
