Orbi purchase help
Need help selecting which Orbi setup I need. My house is about 2,000 sq feet plus I have a workshop about 600 feet away from the house. Thanks

Re: Orbi purchase help
The 2,000 sq. ft. house is "no problem" for any number of Orbi models. The 600 ft, however, is WAAAY too far for an Orbi WiFi backhaul signal. Simply will not work. In fact, that distance is technically too far for an ethernet cable (100m max). I would look into a system that has "point to point" connections to bridge two LAN's.

And, to complete the list of useless technologies, it is also too big a stretch for Powerline Ethernet.

Re: Orbi purchase help
I saw this on the Netgear website and figured something like this would work.

I've got one of those. No way does it stretch 600 feet.
That would get me to the pub on the village green! No chance.
