HI,
I am going to buy Orbi wifi system, I heard that two or three satellite will have one SSID and users can use unique SSID in house, but how about one frequency for one SSID?
in traditional dual band wifi router, 2.4GHz and 5GHz can be used two different SSID, e.g. 2.4GHz will give "Peterhouse", 5GHz will give "Peterhouse-5G" so that users can search which SSID for 5G, can this setting will apply to Orbi wifi system? Thanks in advance.

The idea behind a mesh system like Orbi is to have a single SSID for all base stations and all radio bands,
Devices will see this common SSID and select the band that has better signal stranget (RSSI) in the position where the device is located.
In theory you should not tell the device which band to select, it will automatically select the most suitable one.
