Orbi won't allow wired connection with Yealink VoIP

Hello

I have a new Orbi RBR50 (the router) and an Orbi Satellite.

I'm trying to connect our Yealink WP52 voice over IP phone.  I am using an ethernet cable to plug direct into the Orbi router but the Yealink won't connect and gives it's IP address as 0.0.0.0 which I understand means it has no IP address.

How do I connect my Yealink to my Orbi and the Internet?

Thanks!

Are you able to manually input a IP address into the IP phone?

Hi and thanks for the reply! After reading your message I Googled that and found this:

      https://kb.intermedia.net/Contents/3064/YealinkW52PQsG.pdf

Then I tried to follow the instructions on that pdf but I don't know what to enter for IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Secondary DNS...

Sorry I don't know much about this stuff  :(

      Any ideas?

For Ip I would go with 192.168.1.50 ( hopefully you do not have 50 devices connected to your orbi)

The default gateway should be 192.168.1.1

the subnet mask will be 255.255.255.0

as for DNS you may have to log into your orbi and click the Internet tab and see what DNS servers are showing up or you can try to use googles free DNS which is primary 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4
