What ORBI works with the outdoor unit? Also is it a wifi or an extender? Thank you.
The outdoor RBS50Y Orbi has two modes:
It integrated with any of the "original Orbi" systems (RBR50, RBR40, RBR20) but NOT the new RBR10 as an "Orbi satellite". Also, not the Orbi Pro or Orbi AX models. Does everything the other satellites do. Devices "roam". Devices select best access point. etc.
In "Extender" mode, it will connect to ANY brand of WiFi router, just like any other extender product from any vendor.
