Re: OrbiOSV2.3.1.48 + Homekit

(I thought this was an English forum?)

Anyway, I can confirm that the .48-firmware also broke my HomeKit setup that's been running stable for a long time with many differen FW versions.

I've had issues way in the past but they were fixed a long time ago, but the issue seems to unfortunately have resurfaced again with V2.3.1.48.  Besides this issue the rest seems to work just fine. Hoping for a quick fix!

This is a English forum. You posted in French.

Try a factory reset and setup from scratch to see if this solves this.

What FW version were you using when Homekit was working?

No I didn't. I replied to a post in French. Notice the difference.

I prefer to wait until Netgear fixes it. Performing a factory reset and setting up things from scratch will take me at least a day, probably longer. I think the vendor needs to do their part first to resolve this. HomeKit has worked fine on most FW versions up until now with .48.

Re: OrbiOSV2.3.1.48 + Homekit

Yes it was in french. We requested English text. Thanks.

A factory reset would be needed to see if this fixes the issue. There maybe some lingering code or mis-configuration from the last FW version that was loaded that maybe inhibiting correct operation. We havn't seen any others with Homekit issues as of yet so maybe your the first or the only one with this problem.

You can file a support ticket for additional help and let NG now about this. They may not be aware and may not fix it if they don't know about it.

Good Luck though.

Re: OrbiOSV2.3.1.48 + Homekit

An upgrade to V2.3.1.60 resolved my HomeKit issues again. As expected, no resets required. This was all Orbi FW related.

I can see by this thread that they were also fully aware of this being a problem;

Even with .60 I continue to see HomeKit issues. It first started with my Wemo devices but is not affecting the new Phillips Hue kit I recently purchased.
