Port forwarding problem RBR50
I am creating a server on the port 25565. Port forwarding seems to work and I even check if the port is open with a port checker it says its open. But when freinds try to join off the external ip addres it does not work. I have read other posts but none seem to help my problem. Im really not sure what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am on the latest update as of today. running off win10.

Re: Port forwarding problem RBR50
If http://www.canyouseeme.org/ says that port 25565 is open then the port forwarding seems to be working and it's likely an issue with your software. Have you tried a different port number and temporarily disabling the firewall or antivirus software to see if that makes a difference?

If you have PF configured, be sure to disable uPnP on the router.

Re: Port forwarding problem RBR50
I have tried disabling both of those I do now wonder if the software is having a problem. The weird part is that when ever I start the server the port seems to close. But if I check it with the port checker it says its open. I will try to use a different software. Also for the post about turning of Upnp I have closed it when I pf.

Re: Port forwarding problem RBR50
Yup it was a combination of the software and my antivirus firewall. Thanks for the help guys!
