I would like to purchase the Orbi RBK50 (RBK50-100CNS) in Toronto and take it to Beijing to use with China Unicom Internet Service. Would it work?

It should work you may need a power converter and also you may want to check the wifi rules between Canada and China some places do no want certain band and frequencies used.
