Purple router ring- RBR50

To whom it may concern:

My router ring color is purple. In an attempt to fix it, I changed from Router Mode to AP Mode. No change in ring color.

I was looking for the post that talked about router ring colors and I couldn't find it.

But more importantly I need this fixed. I currently have no internet.

So how do I fix this?

Firmware version: 2.7.3.22
Router mode: AP

Re: Purple router ring- RBR50

Depending on how much effort has been put into customizing the Orbi configuration (assigning IP's, giving names to devices, etc.) the easiest step is to do a Factory Reset and start over.

(In my case, a reconfiguration takes me over two hours and it is my last resort when every other possible effort has failed.)

Router LED and Ring colors are explained here:

There must be at least one router in the network, either the ISP device or the Orbi.  If the ISP device is "only a modem", then the Orbi cannot be placed in Access Point (AP) mode.

I have done the factory reset. To get the ORBI back and running, I need the initial password for the network. I have lost the paper that had it.

Is there any way to retrieve it?

The initial WiFi name (SSID) and password are printed on the product label (bottom of case)
