R8000 does not cut it
Hello all, I have a 3,400 sq. ft. home. The internet provider's cable comes in at both ends of the house. When I connect my Netgear R8000 Blackhawk, I get tremendous speeds at one end of the home, close to the router (150mbps), but at the other end of the house, I barely get a signal. Does anyone recommend I replace R8000 with Orbi -OR- can I add Orbi to my R8000? If so, how would I go about doing that. Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Re: R8000 does not cut it
You can do either of the two options, Orbi can be used along with your existing router if you use it in AP Mode, but most likely you'll be fine by just using the Orbi.

Re: R8000 does not cut it
How about relocatng the router to central location of the house. Running a cable from modem to router is impractical?
