RB50 - Random Device Dropouts

I have had an Orbi (RBR50 + Satellite) for almost 12 months. We live in a 4 bedroom townhouse (multi storey, not a lot of square metres). The coverage has always been reliable and fantastic throughout the house. No issues, no internet dropouts, no device dropouts.

Last week we started to randomly have issues. I have quite a number of wireless devices such as laptops, phones, ipads, wireless lights (Lifx) and Logitech POP bridge/buttons + the usual TVs, soundbar etc; about 20 or so devices. I havent added anything new or made any changes but we periodically have devices dropout and reconnect after a random period of time. Sometimes 30 or so seconds, sometimes longer.

There doesnt seem to be a pattern with the devices. Tonight the Logitech POP bridge has dropped out a few times which has been frustrating and I've also had various Lifx lights go (not always the same ones). I'm on Version V2.1.4.10 of the firmware. I've recently power cycled all the devices which hasn't made a difference but I've stopped short of a reset.

I have seen this in the logs tonight:

I would love to hear any advice on where to go from here. Thanks in advance.

Re: RB50 - Random Device Dropouts

What channels are you using?

Try 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.

Is Daisy Chain, MiMo and Fast Roaming enabled? Try them disabled.

Try a factory reset on the system as last resort and set up from scratch:

Re: RB50 - Random Device Dropouts

The 2.4Ghz band (which most devices were connected to and dropping out from) was on Auto. I ran some Wifi Analyser tools today and it seemed to be on Channel 11 and there was a decent amount of neighbouring activity on 11. I switched it over to 4 (Any issues with using 4?! It was clear whilst 6 had a bit of activity).

Daisy Chain, MiMo and Fast Roaming are disabled. I'll keep them that way for the time being. I'll give the fixed channel a few days to see how it responds then try the reset. Thanks for the advice!

Re: RB50 - Random Device Dropouts

Use 1 or 6. 1, 6 and 11 are primary channels to use, All other channels are sub channels that are internally used by the wifi radios. You can try 4 for not and see however give 1 and 6 a try if there not busy.
