RBK 13 Satellite LED Flashing Red
Hi, hope someone can assist, I have a satelitte AP that is flashing Red meaning the Firmware is corrupt, can anyone assist me on how to get this back to flashing white so I can Sync with main router?
I have tried the reset button for up to a minute and nothing happens, the LED remains flashing red.
Thank you in advance....

Re: RBK 13 Satellite LED Flashing Red
You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

Re: RBK 13 Satellite LED Flashing Red
Hi, thank you for the response and the process.
The process if for fixing the Main Base unit and not the Satellite that is the problem, I dont have a problem with the Main Unit. It came with 2 sattelites, one is working and the other is flashing red, that is where the problem is. How to fix the Satelite.
Any input for me on this?
Thanks in Advance.

Re: RBK 13 Satellite LED Flashing Red
My bad, the satellites on that system don't have an ethernet port for tftp/nmrpflash.
If a factory reset does fix it, then you'd need to open a support case with netgear.
Click on "mynetgear" at the top. register an account and the device. From there you can contact support ( to check on warranty)
