RBK12 Router as AP
Need some assistance with a hypothetical set up. Have an existing mesh network with router and 3 satellites. Can I hang an additional router off the last satellite (via mesh network) and feed a hardwired connection to another nearby building?
Thanks in advance!

Re: RBK12 Router as AP
You can but you'd want it setup in access point mode to prevent a double nat.
And that 2nd router would need to be hardwired into the satellite.
(I've actually done that before to feed a separate home as well)

Re: RBK12 Router as AP
Tough to connect a router to a satellite when the satellite doesn't have any ethernet ports.
You might look at getting a system that has satellites that support ethernet. I'd also investigate a triband system and use that for the base system.
Otherwise, the 2nd systems speed will be limited by the dual bands backhaul speed (which is much slower than the tribands)
