RBK50 — Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi System
I'm looking at the RBK50 Orbi AC3000 Tri-band wifi system. My router.modem is in the front, NW corner of the main house (small house - approx 1500 sq ft.). We have a guest cottage out back behind our house - approx. 2500 feet from our main house. I'm concerned this system won't give us the wifi coverage out in the guest cottage. I'm unsure where I would place the one satelite unit... in our main home or out in the cottage? Would this system even work to provide sufficient coerage out in the cottage? Thank you!! @ links to members

Re: RBK50 — Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi System
wifi won't transmit 2500 ft. Not a chance. Even if you had an accidental 0 in there, wifi most likely won't transmit/recieve at 250 ft. If you can pick it up, its probably not usable.
so do you truly mean 2500 or is it 250ft?
