RBK50 and Vodafone Gigabox

Hi there   I have just ordered a RBK50 (its on its way) to install with my Vodafone Gigabox   However, I have been advised that VOIP service I have will ONLY run when connected to the Gigabox   ...

Do i meed to turn off DCHP on the Gigabox to retain parental control;s etc on the Orbi , which yuou said to run in router mode? Note I need VOIP connetced to Gigabox

If the VoIP has to be connected to the Main ISP Gigabox, then you'll probably need to leave DHCP enabled there. 

 

What you might try is this, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
