 I see that my Amazon Fire is using 2.4 GHz instead of the 5GHz. How to I get it to use the 5?

OK....I would leave it....but perhaps unplug the PS4 as a test.

Does your Amazon Fire work?  Streaming OK?

Usually the freq assigned is based on distance from the broadcast.

If it's working fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

Seems OK but I would prefer 5 GHz. I have a PS4 right next to the Fire and it is using 5GHz.

You can reduce the 2.4Ghz radio power under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings to see if it might force the fire stick to 5Ghz.

probably won't work since the PS4 is sitting near by.
