RBR50 / RBS50 Firmware Version 2.0.0.76 issues
I upgraded my RBR50/RBS50 systems to firmware v2.0.0.76 and noticed that DHCP requests are no longer being logged and I can no longer connect to the router using my Android cellphone. Anyone else notice any issues with this firmware version?

Correction: I can connect using my Android Phone, but only a white page is displayed after login.

Re: RBR50 / RBS50 Firmware Version 2.0.0.76 issues
Curiously the ability to login into my router from Android phone is working correctlry now, but it still bothers me that dhcp entries are not being logged. Was the fix to dhcp to simply turn off all logging?

Re: RBR50 / RBS50 Firmware Version 2.0.0.76 issues
Hi, on the update page it says to write down all your settings, does this mean that once it's updated all of the settings will need to be put in again?
Thanks.

Yes, but you can backup your configuration settings by going to Advanced>>Administration>>Backup Settings in the browser GUI.

I'm still a bit apprehensive about installing beta firmware though.

Re: RBR50 / RBS50 Firmware Version 2.0.0.76 issues
I sorry about asking a question about a question, but my Orbi Tri-band RBR50/RBS50 report that they are "current" at v2.0.0.74 -- even the corresponding Netgear support page says that this is "current." Is this a beta or are we talking about different models? Apologies in advance for being a dunce (if that's the case).

Re: RBR50 / RBS50 Firmware Version 2.0.0.76 issues
Thank you, Charleem. I am happy to try out the beta since I powerd off my RBS50 (satellite) a week after KRACK was announced and there was no replacement firmware in sight.

Re: RBR50 / RBS50 Firmware Version 2.0.0.76 issues
Installation went well. It has been up and running for some 20 minutes. The computer I'm using now connected to the Satellite (as expected by proximity), but I'm a little surprised that the MCS Index is only 6 given the distance and interceding materials. However the measured throughput is what I would expect. I've walked through my settings and all seems right. I can't verify that they've addressed the protocol issue with KRACK, but one has to hope that they did it right.

One more question: How does one learn of these beta releases? I didn't see anything public about it.

Re: RBR50 / RBS50 Firmware Version 2.0.0.76 issues
It'd be handy if they did email but at least they auto update when the version is fully released.
I'm not going to update to the beta until I'm back from holiday mid December, by which time I hope it'll be out of testing.

Re: RBR50 / RBS50 Firmware Version 2.0.0.76 issues
Are you having the same dl/up speeds? I'm on *74 right now, my upload speed is normal but the dl has been half of what it should be, and I feel it's been since the *74 firmware went out. I might give a shot to *76 and see if it changes anything.

For my system, upload and download throughput are just what they should be.
