RBR50 RBS50 Problems updating firmware V2.7.4.24

Hi

I like to keep my software up to date and I'm wondering whether it's worth updating the firmware on my Orbi router RBR50 and satillites RBS50 to V2.7.4.24.  I also have an RBS40 satellite but there is no new firmware available for that.

I remember reading comments about update procedures not working and needing to reset the entire network.

Have people been experiencing any problems updating?

Do you think that if I update the RBR50 and the RBS50 to the new V2.7.4.24 firmware I will have trouble with my RBS40 since that satellite can't be updated?

Would I be better off just leaving my current system alone since it's working fine?

I go both ways when it comes to updates. 

Sometimes I'm the "if it works, don't fix it". 

And then a couple months later, I'm all about doing updates. 

I've updated my rbr50 setup to the latest firmware and not had issues. I've seen other reports of that but every release we see some complaint. Usually a factory reset fixes it. 

So to update or not? Kind of up to you and which one you prefer. You can always make and backup and do the update.

And the RBS40 will be on a different firmware because its different hardware. It should still work fine.
