RBR50 Router - Can it be used as a Satellite?
I have an Orbi network purchased from Costco a year ago (RBR50 & 3 Satellites). I just was given another RBR50 and 1 Satellite. I added the satellite to my current network. Not that I need it right now, but can my currently unused RBR50 be used as a satellite? If so, what settings would need to be changed?

Re: RBR50 Router - Can it be used as a Satellite?
RBR50 can't be used as a Satellite, but you can wire it to Orbi and use it in AP mode if you want to use it to extend your wifi coverage.

Re: RBR50 Router - Can it be used as a Satellite?
An Orbi router can never be a "satellite". What is can do is be connected as an independent Access Point (AP). It won't be "part of the Orbi" sophisticated network, but it could prove useful for specific needs.
