RBR50 on Clearance?
Any idea why the RBR50 is on clearance for $199 at BestBuy?

Re: RBR50 on Clearance?
I suspect it's because they know they're not going to be able to restore the stability that was lost with 1.11.x and in some way, they've permanently damaged the hardware in a way they can't recover.
It could also be a technique to continue interest while so many people are complaining on the internet.
It could also have nothing to do with the instability.

Re: RBR50 on Clearance?
It's actually not on clearance. That $199 is for the RBR50 unit only. The two unit set (RBR50 + RBS50) is still $399.
Here is the RBR50 only link: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/netgear-orbi-tri-band-wi-fi-router-rbr50-white/5589803.p?skuId=5589803

Re: RBR50 on Clearance?
The most likely answer would be that the router alone (RBR50) is not selling well by itself at $249. That makes sense when you consider a router by itself doesn't provide the benefits or Orbi, and you can buy a kit for $399 and a satellite alone costs $249.
