RBR500 Disconnection issues
After a year of great performance, the Orbi is not staying connected to the modem. Nothing has changed to cause this to happen. It will only reboot successfully if I go on the web page and reboot. Unplugging etc does not work. It remains connected for a few hours only. Firmware is updated to v2.2.1.210

Re: RBR500 Disconnection issues
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Have you powered OFF the ISP Modem and Orbi router for 1 minute, then powred ON the ISP modem and let it sync then powered ON the Orbi router and let it come to ready?
You might try this as well:

What wired devices do you have connected to Orbi LAN ports? Any mesh speakers (e.g. Sonos)?

the modem is a Comtrend AR-538tu. It has been fine for a year. Just restarted everything again, by turning off etc. My firmware is what you listed.

Re: RBR500 Disconnection issues
Is the modem running in router mode or bridged?
Modem Combo Units:
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
