RBR750 - Product Improvement/ Features Request
Dear Netgear:
I have the following product enhancement recommendations for your product team to consider:
1. Enhance the current Blocked Sites Exclusions list to allow more than one IP address. This way all the streaming media devices (e.g., Apple TVs, ROKU, etc.) can be excluded from the exclusions list. With the blocked sites list enabled, I am unable to stream some content from such services as Disney+ and Netflix on my home devices and I have no way of knowing which sites on my block list (full of add servers and Country Code Top LEvel Domains (ccTDLs) I am blocking. My current list includes such ccTDLs as .ru, .cn, .io, .xxx, .porn, and a variety of other known ad servers.
2. Allow for an expanded list of bloced sites for the ad server entries. Currently I can only enter about 20% of my list before I reach the limit.
3. Make the Blocked sites list CSV uploadable so that users don't have to manually enter each blocked site manually.
4. Add functionality to ensure seamless interoperability with the third-party ExpressVPN service. The current VPN configuration does not allow for the use ofthis service and creates a limited list of compatible services that is duopolistic as the supported services are neitherbest-in-class nor best value.
Regards,
KulHndLuk

Re: RBR750 - Product Improvement/ Features Request
Netgear has provided a community forum where customers post suggestions:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Idea-Exchange-For-Home/idb-p/idea-exchange-for-home
As far as I can determine, Netgear employees do not participate in the ordinary community forums, where customers talk among themselves. So, as interesting as these suggestions are, no one from Netgear will see them.
(I have doubts that Netgear pays much attention to the "Idea Exchange", but that's a different issue.)
