RBS50 satellite random reboots

AC3000 system (RBR50 router and two RBS50 satellites) purchased at Costco in June-2017.
One of the satellites (always the same one) randomly reboots several times per day for no apparent reason.
V2.1.4.10 firmware.
Apple macOS high sierra version 10.13.4
2-story home. 3500 sq ft.
Arris Surfboard SB6190 cable modem and Orbi router on 2nd floor. The two satellites on 1st floor. SRS configuration (satellites at opposite ends of 1st floor and router located between satellites on 2nd floor).
For such an expensive system ($500), it has been very troublesome. The router had to be replaced twice in Oct-2017. Now this satellite issue started two weeks ago. Disconnecting power from satellite and rebooting has not helped.
Not a happy customer.

Have not noticed any disconnects since I moved the satellite closer to the router a week ago.

Re: RBS50 satellite random reboots
Whats the distance between the router and satellites? Feet.
What channels are you using on the Orbi router? Try 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz.
Any wifi neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Also there is a FW update as well:

Re: RBS50 satellite random reboots
40' from router to satellite that has random reboots.
36' from router to satellite that is working fine.
Using Auto for 2.4Ghz.
Channel 48 for 5Ghz
7 wifi neighbors

Re: RBS50 satellite random reboots
Try using one of the manual channels mentioned.
The signal level maybe on the fringes at 40 feet, depending upon building materials as well.
I would keep the 36feet and see how it goes there...

Re: RBS50 satellite random reboots
I tried something that seems to be working. No reboots so far.
I moved the rebooting satellite to the 2nd floor. It is now on the same floor as and within 30' of the router. And the devices on the 1st floor and that end of the house are still connecting to that satellite.
If there is still a problem, I will also try using a manual channel for 2.4Ghz.
