Rbk50 to rbk22
Hi! I have a RBK 50 right now. Can I pick up a rbk22 from somewhere and make them both satellites?!

Re: Rbk50 to rbk22
Alas, no. ANY satellite can connect to any router, but a router can ONLY be a router.
No one knows why Netgear designed the product this way, but they did.
It IS possible to configure a router as a dumb Access Point and attach it to an Orbi router. But, it does not integrate with the base Orbi mesh system. It is like attaching a $50 access point of any brand. If you give it the same WiFi name, devices that attach to it will not "roam" to the Orbi units. (or, vice versa) Its WiFi signal will interfere with the Orbi WiFi signal. Generally disappointing.
